Unleash the Power of Discernment on Ministry and Business

Ravi Kandal, known from the film “Father of Lights”, will be in Portland on August 12, 2016 to lead a seminar on the power of discernment in ministry and buisness.  This seminar is for ministry and business leaders who want to learn to function in the gifting of discerment from the Holy Spirit.

The calling of every leader is to inspire those around them to walk toward a vision or a goal.  In many cases it is not uncommon for the followers who are meant to be inspired to attempt to reverse these roles; as this happens the din of voices grows and it isn’t long before leadership is swirling in a sea of ideas.  Presented with a number of options and surrounded by the vision of others, it can be difficult to remain true to the original vision to which God has called you.  In the midst of everything that presents itself, how do you guard your vision as you guide others and allow for continued growth?

Recognizing the opportunities of God and discerning His leading is an essential function that a leader must perform if he is to remain true to his vision.  The ability to do so only happens when that leader possesses a clear and sound mind.  A mind consumed and distracted by emotions is unable to make a confident and faith filled decision.  There is no clarity in a mind filled with fear and worry.  Recognizing and discerning the direction of God cannot happen if our emotions are dictating our actions.  When our minds are clear we are free to make solid decision unmoved by the impulses of ourselves or others.  How then do we cultivate the clarity of mind that produces peace and allows us to stand strong in the face of challenges and distractions?  Join us as we explore how we can partner with the Holy Spirit to bring freedom to our mind, and subsequently, to our decision making.
